Nomad Tip

Bring your passport and a white judogi (or rent one for ¥500). The international class at 16:00 is specifically for foreign visitors. A once-in-a-lifetime experience even if you've never done judo.

    Training at the Kodokan is a pilgrimage every martial artist should make. The international class is well-organized and the senseis are patient with beginners. I'm a BJJ guy and had zero judo experience — they made me feel completely welcome.
